You sure can purchase a Term policy at your age! Each company has different guidelines for their coverages. Usually the older you get the more you will pay and the less options you will have as far as selecting policies.

At 69 you can most likely get a annual term, 5 year, 10 year or 15 year term.

80 is usually the cut off age for some one to be insurable but many companies are raising that to 85 now as people are living longer.

Shop around, talk to a few different agents and see who has the best options for you.

Go to like prudential or mutual of omaha. They offer insurance for all different age groups. Good Luck.

byyou what on earth are you talking about the questioner said TERM LIFE insurance.

Yes but it might cost you quite a bit in premiums. Just google term life and pick those you are familiar with and give them a call and ask.

Do you want ONE YEAR term insurance, subject to a medical exam, with money no object? Sure.

Are you looking for the same rates as a 30 year old? No.

For the most part, if you’re looking to insure you for the rest of your life, it’s actually going to be cheaper to buy one of those low payout whole life policies, guaranteed issue, than to keep renewing every year with term. That term premium, at your age, is most likely - if you are healthy - going to be darned close to the same price as whole life. This year. And then it will keep going up.

Insurance companies are NOT restricted, they are just in business to make money. If you think of life insurance as what it really is - a bet, that you’re going to die - then you can understand that the insurance companies are bookies, and the odds will always favor the house. They have to, or else the insurance companies would go broke.

Yes, it may be possible for a 69 year-old to take out term life insurance.

Term life insurance may be available to you for a yearly renewable policy subject to higher rates each year to renew your policy.

There are some insurers who may offer you life insurance protection at your age.

For instance, Globe Life offers people age 78 and under up to $30,000 of life insurance protection with no medical exam required.

To find coverage you may want to compare plans and prices from several insurance companies by getting quotes from a life insurance quote provider with access to a network of insurers.

Or, search for "term life insurance" in one of the search engines like Google and review the different websites offering term life insurance.

    Best of luck to you.
